Myth : You will contract COVID-19 by visiting a doctor in a hospital/clinic.

Fact : If you have a medical problem, it is critical that you continue to see your doctor on a regular basis. Before canceling or delaying any appointments or treatments, speak with your provider. Many providers provide video or phone visits, steps are made to guarantee that medically essential treatments are carried out safely.



Myth: Hot or cold climates affect the spread of COVID-19.

Fact : COVID-19 is a virus that may spread in any environment. Physical separation (at least 1meter), frequent handwashing or use of a hand sanitizer, and facial masks are all ways to protect oneself from COVID-19.


Myth: You must be with someone who has COVID-19 for more than 10 minutes to catch the virus.

Myth : There are specific medicines to prevent or treat coronavirus.

Fact : There is no particular drug that can be used to prevent or treat the novel coronavirus at this time. Myth : Thermal scanners can detect COVID-19.
